A World of Experience

Lesson 1

The Real You

You are energy.

Whether you realize it or not, there is something running that body. It has been described many ways: the soul, the remote observer, the life force, intelligent light, and countless others. Regardless of what you call it, it is the real you.

The life force or intelligence that you are has always been, is and will always be. You incarnated in a physical body and came to planet earth for your convenience. You came to learn, grow and expand your understanding about yourself.

As energy or a Soul, you have two natures; an intellectual nature and a feeling nature.

Your intellect is everything you have been told, read, or learned through experience in the physical world. Your intellectual nature is the communicator of your feelings and experiences. It is also called your conscious mind. The Intellect helps you stay organized while you’re in the outer world.

Your feeling nature IS your experiences, your inner world. It is directly connected to the Real You and your power. It is the part of you that receives hunches and insights from the bigger picture and wants to be part of them. The Feeling Nature is also called your unconscious mind.

Different faiths and systems refer to these two natures as the Head and the Heart. What is important is balance; balance of what you feel and what you understand. With these in harmony you will bring greater purpose into your life.

When you came to planet earth you were pure feelings, one with all things. Some of the experiences you had during your first seven years may have clouded the reality that within yourself, you have everything to be abundant, happy and successful. Before coming to planet earth, you had carefully chosen everything you would need to be successful and fulfilled during your ever so brief voyage in the physical world.

A Lifetime on Earth is a blink of an eye in the time span of eternity.

The more you understand the facts and the reality of who you are, the more you will be who you came to be.

No one is free who is not master of themselves.

Your Pivot Point

Those Inner Convictions.

The things you think and believe are right for you, are your inner convictions. They form your foundation or pivot point in life. You evaluate everything that happens to you according to your convictions or beliefs. If you are secure in your pivot point, you will remain relaxed in any situation. You can look at it, decide if there is truth in it for you, and adjust your pivot point if needed. You can be flexible because you know that you can change anything you want.

If you are insecure in your pivot point, you will always tend to be on guard or defensive. You will always be worried that someone might shake your pivot point or force you to change. To protect yourself, you will have narrow and rigid convictions and be judgmental. Often you will be aggressive, or manipulative, to keep anyone from reaching your true feelings. Because you do not understand your feelings, you cannot discern what is truth to you.

Many people hold the same beliefs or concepts their parents held. These concepts become their “Truth.” Frequently, people become very rigid in their beliefs because their ideas are not based on their own personal experience. They feel that their way of believing is the only way and anyone who does not believe that same way is wrong. They are caught in the dogma that has been passed down to them from other generations.

When you learn to understand yourself and the patterns of your life, you will be able to discern between your own inner convictions and the ideas or concepts that were impressed upon you by others.

In this way you can become a stronger person and return to the child-like freedom within you. You will find greater joy in your own state of consciousness in your environment. You will have the freedom to choose your own beliefs and you will discern the strength and dynamic joy of youth that lies within you.

Your pivot point is whatever you believe, understand, know and feel for yourself. It is another way of identifying your own energy — your true feelings.

When you are able to maintain your own energy regardless of your surroundings, you will feel fulfilled. Learn to please yourself, to be involved, and to assert yourself within this world of experience. You can help people just by helping yourself. Everyone who wants to be around you will have to bring up their state of consciousness. Other souls automatically begin to heal themselves if they want to be around you. If however you play games, you force all those around you who are confused to stay confused.

Remember, it is not greedy or evil to think of yourself first. The only area to be alert to is when you start wanting something for nothing, or start thinking the world cannot rotate without you.

As long as you know why you are doing what you are doing, no one can push you off your pivot point. There is no need to prove yourself or try to impress others when you have patience, love and reverence for yourself. When you relax and realize that you are in the very best place for you, then you can go forward one step at a time while accepting and loving yourself.

A strong inner pivot point allows you to be of service to many people while accomplishing what you have come to do.

Ask yourself: In what ways do you worry about what other people think?

Planet Earth

Like a Giant School.

Every day, you wake up into an opportunity to learn & grow. When you go to sleep you regroup those experiences. The following day your opportunity becomes that much greater because you can apply what you have pulled together for yourself. As you apply it, it becomes wisdom. It is this applied wisdom that gives you greater freedom and fulfillment. This is your spiritual real estate.

What makes planet earth such a powerful school is the enormous range of states-of-consciousness here. It is a school to help you evolve. By experiencing life with so many different levels of awareness, you find yourself.

There will always be souls moving in for the first time, souls regrouping and building, and souls moving out. You can be of service to them and they can be of service to you. However, should you get caught in what someone else comes to do, you will be working hard for little result.

Everything is here backing you in what you have come to do. You will fight the rhythms and routines of planet earth and of the solar system when you try to live what others come to do. If you are feeling more downs than ups, it’s time to reevaluate who you are living for. Once you have this clear, you will have greater respect for everything that is here and not get embroiled in what is only temporary and passing.
